Sonora Quest Laboratories / Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Laboratory Technician to perform waived and non-waived tests with supervision, and assist with compliance to CLIA and accreditation standards. You may collect, receive and process specimens, and support the department with accurate, timely results.

The ideal candidate has an appropriate laboratory degree, strong math and documentation skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced lab.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in laboratory science or bachelor’s degree in chemical/biological science.
• Equivalent training meeting CLIA 42 CFR 493.1489/493.1491 or military procedures training.
• Phlebotomy competency demonstrated.

Responsabilidades

• Performs waived and non-waived tests in accordance with CLIA ‘88 under supervision.
• Assists with department compliance with accrediting/regulatory requirements (CLIA, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA).
• May be responsible for collection, receipt, and processing of biological specimens.
