• Contributes to other functions up to 50% of time, such as supply chain management and project oversight.
• Interacts with hospital staff, physicians, and patients regarding specimens and orders with sensitivity to needs.
• Adheres to policies and standards set by governmental and accrediting bodies (TJC, CAP, AABB, CMS, CLIA).
• Promotes quality patient care, safety, and cost-efficient practices while supporting PI processes.
