Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures.
• Initiate tests including cytogenetics, urinalysis, and phlebotomy.
• Label, track, and manage specimens and orders.
• Maintain quality control, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Operate hospital information systems and LIS where applicable.
