CommonSpirit Health's CHI St. Vincent in Arkansas is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to perform complex tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and more, ensuring accurate, timely results that guide patient care.

You will operate and maintain instruments, run quality control, interpret results, and communicate critical values to caregivers, while upholding regulatory standards. A BS in a biological or chemical science is required, with ASCP or similar certifications preferred;

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in a biological or chemical science per CLIA definition.
• Ability to perform waived, moderately complex, and highly complex tests with timely reporting.
• Strong adherence to accuracy and regulatory standards.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens.
• Provides patient care through clinical correlation and rapid notification of critical values.
• Maintains major automated equipment with calibration and troubleshooting.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures.
• Performs proficiency testing and reviews results with laboratory leaders.
• Assists in validation and documentation of new procedures and equipment.
