Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Ohio seeks a Laboratory professional to perform and supervise a broad range of tests, ensuring data accuracy for diagnoses and treatment.

Under supervision, you will handle specimen processing, instrument operation, quality control, and reporting. You will participate in cross-training, contribute to procedure development, and train bench personnel while maintaining CLIA and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory operations; familiarity with departments, functions, and processes.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication.
• PC word processing and spreadsheet skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conducts, directs, or assists in special projects, evaluations, or research initiatives.
• Participates in cross-training rotations across Clinical Laboratory sections.
• Identifies areas for improvement, recommends methods, and collects data for initiatives.
• Establishes job requirements and goals; performs duties at expected competency level.
• Provides training to bench personnel and students after reaching proficiency; may train LIS staff.
