Job summary

Jefferson Health in Montgomery County, PA is seeking a Generalist Medical Laboratory Technician/Scientist for the Einstein Montgomery location. The role supports MLT/MLS functions during the night shift, including specimen collection, testing, and data entry in the LIS.

The ideal candidate will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, phlebotomy experience, and knowledge of quality control practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with phlebotomy and specimen processing.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens following established protocols and label accurately.
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture when required and collect specimens.
• Enter and verify test results in the LIS; monitor QC and instrument calibration.
• Troubleshoot equipment and document maintenance and results.
• Assist training of other technicians and students as needed.
