Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to perform laboratory testing under the direction of the Department Manager and/or Supervisor. The successful candidate will work within established policies and procedures of the Laboratory Department and hospital.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology and California State Licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Microbiologist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology required.
• California State License for Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Microbiologist required.
• 1 year experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing following the policies and procedures of the Laboratory Department and the hospital.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with accuracy and safety.
