Qualifications

• Work requires coursework in clinical laboratory science, biology, chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, cytopathology, cytogenetics, or microbiology; typically via a post-secondary program in Histotechnology, MLT, MT, or related field.
• 5+ years of direct laboratory experience may substitute for completed secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex clinical laboratory tests per standards and procedures.
• Duties may vary by laboratory and shift, similar to CLS I/II or Cytogenetics Tech roles.
• Works as a PRN or on-call staff member; not merit eligible.
