Job summary

Atlantic Health's laboratory team in Summit, NJ seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to process specimens, perform high and moderate complexity testing, and ensure accurate reporting in a collaborative, regulated environment.

You will maintain QC records, operate and troubleshoot equipment, participate in proficiency testing, and contribute to training and safety across the department.

Qualifications

• CLIA High Complexity testing qualification required or equivalent.
• 1 year healthcare or lab experience preferred.
• ASCP or AMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens and accession orders per SOPs.
• Perform high/moderate complexity testing and report results.
• Maintain quality control, calibration and maintenance logs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and instrument issues.
• Collaborate with teams to support patient care.
• Train team members and students as needed.
