Job summary
Dignity Health - Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) in Prescott Valley, AZ is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform complex lab tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, ensuring accurate, timely results and adherence to procedures. You will analyze specimens, operate and maintain instruments, perform QC, calibrations, and communicate critical values to care teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry per CLIA requirements.
- Experience interpreting results and ensuring timely reporting.
- Ability to operate and maintain lab instruments and perform QC.
Responsibilities
- Performs waived, moderately complex, and highly complex tests on patient specimens.
- Reports results and ensures turnaround times are met for clinical decisions.
- Maintains and calibrates major automated equipment and troubleshoots issues.
- Performs calibration and quality control procedures and maintains records.
- Performs proficiency testing and reviews results with lab leaders.
- Assists in evaluating and documenting new procedures and equipment.
