Qualifications

• Education: MLS/MT/CLS acceptable per CLIA 493.1491; degree requirements as listed.
• Credentialing: MLS/MT/CLS within 12 months of hire; MT/AMT/ASCP/NC certs considered.
• Experience: None required for MLS/MT/CLS; 2+ years for MLT staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures accurately and report results per policies.
• Prioritize workload to meet turnaround time goals.
• Maintain quality control, instrument maintenance, and documentation.
• Communicate results and issues with lab staff, physicians, and caregivers.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed at all times.

Associate degree in Clinical Lab Science

Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral degree in Chemical/Biological/Clinical Laboratory Science
