Job summary

McKenzie Health in Watford City, ND is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to perform laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis and microbiology, analyze specimens, and enter results into the computer system.

The successful candidate will comply with safety standards, maintain equipment and inventory, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in science preferred.
• Experience as CMLT preferred.
• Fluent in phlebotomy preferred, willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient specimen analysis for diagnostic purposes.
• Enters all results into the computer system.
• Brings panic value test results to the attention of the provider/nurse/supervisor.
• Maintains laboratory inventory and cleans/sterilizes equipment.
• Performs hematology, urinalysis and chemistry analyses.
• Ensures accuracy of specimen labeling and reporting of results.
