Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1–2 years Laboratory Assistant or Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is encouraged.

Aufgaben

• Collect, process, label, and deliver specimens accurately.
• Perform venous and capillary draws efficiently and safely.
• Record collection and receipt of samples in the laboratory computer system.
• Order laboratory tests in the Laboratory system.
• Prepare drawing rooms and trays; stock supplies and check for outdated items.
• Prepare Mayo and Pathology samples for transport.
• Package and ship reference lab samples.
• Transmits orders for testing to reference lab.
• QC and maintenance on Laboratory BGM meter.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize the Laboratory.
• Assist Technologists and perform miscellaneous duties as needed.
