Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the Laboratory Services team. The role involves processing specimens, handling orders, and assisting Medical Technologists in daily duties in a fast-paced hospital lab environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, at least one year of lab experience, and phlebotomy certification preferred. Must be able to lift, stand long hours, and uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• One year of laboratory experience preferred.
• Phlebotomist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all specimen types in a timely and accurate manner.
• Receive and organize patient orders and ensure proper labeling.
• Perform routine lab tasks and assist technologists as needed.
• Maintain clean and stocked work areas and assist with inventory.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and quality control standards.
