Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support specimen processing, handling, and clerical duties in our laboratory operations. You will perform specimen management, blood collection when needed, and assist with CLIA-waived or moderately complex testing under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS-CPR certification within 90 days.
• Lab Assistant Program certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy program certificate preferred.
• Six months experience in an acute care facility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and process laboratory specimens for testing.
• Perform venous and capillary blood collections as needed.
• Conduct CLIA-waived or moderately complex tests under supervision.
• Maintain department workflow and equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and effective communication with team.
