Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and NYS licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• 2-5 years leadership/management experience preferred; 6-8 years of technical experience required.
• Master's Degree may substitute for some experience with appropriate technical background.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to operations team and supervisors toward department objectives.
• Develops and communicates goals aligned with the health system.
• Manages daily activities and staff; hires, trains, disciplines, and supervises.
• Evaluates performance and ensures timely appraisals; manages coverage and records.
• Manages development and validation of analytical methodologies for various dosage forms.
• Ensures results by solving diverse problems; leads investigations and drives initiatives.
• Collaborates with clients and internal groups.
• Collaborates with business development and contracts on project definition and costing.
• Ensures timely completion and compliance with training requirements.
• Motivates a high-performing team through training, coaching, and performance management.
• Performs related duties as required; adheres to ADA essential functions.
