Job summary

St. Charles Health System, based in Oregon, seeks a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee operations at Prineville and Madras sites. You will lead testing workflows, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and mentor lab staff to deliver accurate results.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in MLS/CLS, national certification, and 3–5 years of experience in a clinical lab. Multi-site experience and process-improvement skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Current national certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist (e.g., ASCP, AMT, AAB).
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical laboratory experience across at least one core discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations across one or more sites.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, TJC, OSHA and quality indicators.
• Direct staff supervision, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Provide technical oversight of testing, instrument maintenance, and new methods.
