Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Manager to lead the Core lab at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital in Clinton, SC. The role oversees daily operations, staff, and regulatory adherence.

This leadership position requires strong communication and problem-solving across technical and non-technical teams. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological science or Medical Technology with ASCP/AMT MT certification and 4+ years in clinical diagnostics, plus supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science or Medical Technology with ASCP/AMT MT certification.
• 4+ years' experience as a technologist in a clinical diagnostics lab.
• Strong supervisory experience preferred (3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily Core lab operations, both technical and non‑technical.
• Staff scheduling, overtime control and department staffing.
• Directly supervise and mentor laboratory staff and managers.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, state and ISO regulations.
• Maintain LIS proficiency and effective cross‑functional communication.
