Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Phlebotomy experience required; CPT1 license or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient registration information and prioritizes orders.
• Receives and processes laboratory orders and enters data in the computer system.
• Answers phones and routes calls as appropriate.
• Prepares and processes specimens for delivery to laboratory and reference labs.
• Performs venipuncture, urine drug screens, and may conduct EBT when trained.
• Maintains inventory and notifies supervisor when stock is low.
