Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as Lab Assistant within 30 days of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS required (or within 90 days).
• Medical terminology and computer/data entry experience preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Previous hospital or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood, collect specimens, and run EKGs.
• Process specimens and accession in LIS.
• Organize, check off and deliver laboratory reports and requisitions.
• Restock and clean laboratory areas as needed.
• Answer phone and manage front desk duties.
