• Medical Lab Assistant I requires an Associate’s Degree in Science or a Phlebotomy Certification from a qualifying agency.
• Medical Lab Assistant II requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science.
• Medical Lab Assistant III requires a high school diploma and either an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and MLA certification (ASCP or AMT).

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collection, procurement, processing and selective testing.
• Report problems and concerns through appropriate channels.
• Assist with training and student instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
