Job summary

Labcorp in Dallas, TX seeks a Lab Assistant to join our team on a Monday–Friday 5 am–1 pm shift. You will receive and sort clinical lab specimens, prepare samples for testing, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

You should have a High School Diploma or GED; preferred experience in healthcare or laboratory settings; strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and the ability to multitask safely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Labcorp experience or healthcare industry exposure.
• Experience in assembly/manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience in a medical/clinical laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure lab equipment is functioning and perform minor maintenance.
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and administrative duties as requested.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality standards.
