Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect and handle venous and capillary blood specimens for inpatients and outpatients.
• Transcribe medical orders and ensure appropriate tests are performed.
• Answer departmental phones and relay lab results and information.
• Operate HIS/LIS and reference lab systems as required.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and comply with safety policies.
