Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a Lab Support Technician for the Procurement-Gateway team. This role assists technical lab staff, may handle specimen collection, receipt, and processing, and prepares samples for analytical testing. Under CLIA guidelines, waived tests may be performed under supervision by qualified staff.

Working days are a Day shift (4am - 2:30pm), with 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holidays apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must be 18+ if performing phlebotomy.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification or ability to obtain fingerprint certification.
• Dependent on department/location, valid state driver''s license and eligibility for company auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare patient samples: collection, identification, and processing.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision when allowed.
• Assist with inventory management and supplies to support department operations.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and document quality concerns; support QC activities.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers and participate in staff meetings.
