UVA Health's UVA Community Health is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Associate III to perform pre-analytical processing of specimens, data entry of demographic information, and order review. The role includes accessioning, labeling, sample handling, phlebotomy support, inventory, and questions resolution within the clinical laboratory environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, with 2+ years of healthcare or lab experience or relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of health care or laboratory setting experience or CLA certification; or phlebotomist certification.

Responsabilités

• Collects urine drug screens.
• Completes required documentation for all lab procedures.
• Processes requisitions for testing and distributes reports.
• Ensures proper labeling of samples and sample distribution.
