Job summary

PRESNow is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Assistant (CLA) to join our Laboratory Services team. The CLA supports specimen collection, processing and handling while delivering patient care.

Provides phlebotomy and other collection procedures, orders tests, and assists with general lab duties to ensure timely, accurate diagnostics. HS/GED with nine months phlebotomy experience preferred; ASCP or equivalent certification is favored.

Qualifications

• HS/GED plus nine months of phlebotomy experience.
• Preference for PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
• Point-of-care, waived, and moderate complexity testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and other collection procedures per procedures.
• Processes requisitions and enters test orders.
• Handles specimens, performs basic QC and maintains equipment.
