Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant to work at the Woodward location with minimal supervision. The role supports multiple modalities and requires in-person attendance, with Tuesday and Saturday shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent.
• Preferred ASCP or an equivalent certification.
• Completion of a Clinical Lab Assistant program or comparable training.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties professionally and courteously.
• Maintains supplies and inventory to support department functions.
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed.
• Exhibits effective telephone and verbal communication skills.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities during scheduled hours.
• Maintains confidentiality of personal and patient information.
• Performs basic clerical tasks as needed by the department.
