The position involves operating automated and semi-automated equipment, maintaining inventory, and assisting with waste disposal and safety protocols. A relevant AS degree and clinical lab exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science Degree preferred.
• 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Must hold one of the listed national certifications or state license.

Responsabilités

• Accurately evaluates specimen orders and enters clinical data into lab systems.
• Identifies missing or invalid data and corrects according to SOPs.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains laboratory equipment and glassware.
• Maintains and distributes laboratory supplies.
• Packages laboratory biohazard waste for disposal following standards.
• Monitors and tracks equipment calibrations and preventative maintenance.
• Maintains inventory of all reagents and consumables.
• Assists with safety, infection control, and compliance procedures.
• Follows established protocols for PPE use and waste handling.
