Job summary

Insight Global is assisting a client in Livingston, NJ by recruiting a Clinical Lab Assistant to support accessioning, documentation, and sample tracking in a busy clinical laboratory. The role requires meticulous record-keeping, attention to chain-of-custody, and basic safety practices; you will work with lab staff to receive shipments, enter data, and verify sample IDs.

The position runs Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and offers a collaborative team environment focused on

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented for documentation and record-keeping.
• Ability to understand and follow safety standards and GLP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Accessioning documentation and record keeping for incoming samples.
• Take new shipments of samples and complete biopsy sheets, recording sample IDs.
• Enter required data and register temperatures of fridges/freezers as needed.
• Assist with assembling collection kits and placing orders.
• Maintain organized storage of lab supplies and ensure records are up to date.

A client of ours in Livingston, NJ is looking for a clinical lab assistant to help with accessioning (documentation, record keeping) for their clinical lab. They will be responsible for taking new shipments of samples & completing biopsy sheets and record which samples were received, enter required data, sample ID, etc. for the labs to use. This person might also assist with assembling collection kits, registering temperatures of fridges/freezers, storing general lab supplies, and placing orders. This individual must be extremely detail oriented for documentation purposes and enjoy working within a team environment. The shift is Tuesday-Saturday with hours starting 10:00AM-6:00PM.
