Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design simple business, clinical, education, or infrastructure solutions by observing customer processes and documenting findings.
• Design solutions that conform to institutional policies, standards, and guidelines to deliver quality products.
• Participate in selecting infrastructure applications to support end users and hardware environments.
• Install and configure basic server hardware and operating systems to provide a working product.
• Evaluate, implement, and monitor basic software and hardware solutions to ensure system integrity.
• Implement backups and archive operations to ensure data recoverability.
• Provide basic server-level administration, monitor and tune system performance, and develop scripts to automate tasks.
• Perform basic system software upgrades, plan and coordinate changes, and ensure a stable product for the environment.
• Audit and maintain user access and security, and generate ongoing system reports to assess performance.
