Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Management Analyst II in King of Prussia, PA. This role supports the clinical information systems team and manages projects across the lifecycle, interfacing with clinicians, facilities, and corporate departments.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 3–5 years in information services/healthcare/project management, and strong Microsoft Office and communication skills. Travel up to 25% may be needed. PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Understanding of hospital workflow and operational processes.
• Advanced working knowledge of clinical information systems.
• 3–5 years information services, healthcare, or project management experience.
• Ability to work with end users to determine software specifications, hardware requirements and process improvement workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between clinicians, facility, and corporate departments as appropriate.
• Manages projects as project manager or backup: runs meetings, tracks tasks, issues, and action items, escalates risks and issues, drives to completion.
• Adheres to UHS Project Management standards and documents progress using designated tools.
• Gathers data required for assigned projects and supports event planning for large projects.
• Travels to facilities as needed; some night/weekend coverage may be requested.
• Provides technical support and guidance to end users and team members; supports project management applications (Brightwork).
• Researches and resolves implementation-related customer support center tickets.
• Provides on-call after hours support as needed and participates in project management training.
• Keeps management informed of activities, needs, and problems.
