Job summary

Onco360 in Houston, TX is seeking a Clinical Intervention - Pharmacy Technician to support nurses and pharmacists in daily workflow. The role focuses on adverse event reporting, pharmacovigilance activities, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for those starting before Dec 31, 2026. The position is full-time with benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement match, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacy knowledge and terminology including sig codes and Roman numerals.
  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience.
  • Pharmacy technician registration/certification required.
  • PTCB certification desired.
  • Strong math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reports adverse drug reactions within the facility's population within 24 hours of notification.
  • Adheres to pharmacovigilance reporting procedures and guidelines.
  • Assesses adverse drug reactions to determine proper reporting on manufacturer forms.
  • Assists with reconciliation activities for pharmacovigilance programs.
  • Reviews progress notes to identify information required for adverse drug reports.
  • Completes manufacturer training within designated timeframes.
  • Follows state/federal laws and REMS programs in pharmacy practice.
  • Contributes to team effort by performing related tasks as needed.

The Clinical Intervention Technician will assist nurses, pharmacists, technicians, supervisors, and managers in daily workflow to ensure appropriate reporting of adverse events and product complaints. They will ensure all assigned tasks are completed daily.

Starting salary at $23.00 hourly and up.

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before December 31, 2026

Clinical Intervention - Pharmacy Technician Major Responsibilities:
  • Reports adverse drug reactions that occur within the facility's population within 24 hours of notification.
  • Adheres to all reporting procedures outlined in the GSI documents and Adverse Events Reporting Guidelines.
  • Appropriately assesses adverse drug reactions to determine proper reporting through manufacturer specific forms and MedWatch forms.
  • Assists with reconciliation related activities for compliance with manufacturer Pharmacovigilance programs.
  • Reviews progress notes and patient profiles to identify appropriate information required to complete comprehensive adverse drug reaction reports.
  • Completes manufacturer training within designated time frames.
  • Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
  • Follows procedures, rules, regulations and compliance with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.
Clinical Intervention - Pharmacy Technician Qualifications and Responsibilities:
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge, knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, basic math and analytical skills.

Required education:
  • High school or equivalent

  • Desired: 3+ years pharmacy experience
Required license or certification:
  • Required: Pharmacy Technician registration/certification
  • Desired: Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB), specialty pharmacy experience
