Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Montana is seeking an experienced nurse educator to train nursing assistants and other staff under state-approved modules. You will deliver instruction per the Montana NATP program guidelines and monitor learner progress.

The ideal candidate has an active RN/LPN license, teaching adults experience or supervision of aides, and at least two years of nursing practice, including long-term care, home health, hospice, or assisted living.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults or supervising aides.
• Must have an active LPN/LVN or RN License.
• Instructor must have at least 2 years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of that experience must be in long-term care or home health, hospice, or assisted living.

Under the direction of the administrator and general supervision of the NATP Program Coordinator. The instructor shall provide training and instruction as specified in the modules and hours as set forth by the state of Montana.
