Job summary

NCDIT is seeking a Clinical Informaticist to serve as a SME for NC HealthConnex solution teams, guiding clinical concepts, workflows, and data use cases. You will support evaluators, shape product design, and contribute to data validation and quality measurement initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in clinical informatics, with expertise in EHRs, HL7/FHIR, and CMS DAV/PSV processes. Remote/flexible contract role based in Raleigh area, engaging with clinical and technical teams.

Qualifications

Clinical degree or professional licensure required; RN/MD/NP/PharmD or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or health information exchange environments.
Strong knowledge of clinical data standards and quality measurement requirements.

Responsibilities

Serve as clinical SME for NC HealthConnex solution teams and data use cases.
Support clinical evaluators in interpreting and validating resources and content.
Provide clinical input to design, development, and validation of product features.
Assist with DAV and PSV documentation and processes as needed.
Support implementation and alignment of data sources with quality measurement specs.
