Qualifications

• Master of Science in a clinical field required or preferred.
• Degree or certifications in healthcare informatics preferred.
• Some knowledge/experience with contracts.
• Knowledge/experience with project or program management.
• Knowledge of medical, administrative, ethical and legal requirements related to healthcare delivery and patient information.
• Knowledge of program policies and guidelines and operating procedures relating to information systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and facilitate adoption of clinical information systems and technologies that support clinicians and patients.
• Lead meetings with IHSC units to capture functional input for the EHR and coordinate with operations staff.
• Guide solution design using clinical knowledge, data analysis, and human-centered design to fit patient care needs.
• Use data to drive process changes and improve clinical workflows and technology use.
• Document specifications for tools, reports, and systems aligned with organizational priorities.
• Document analyses (swim lanes, value streams, gaps) to ensure comprehensive solutions.
