Job summary

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking a Supervisory Assistant Health Services Administrator to oversee health operations at facilities. The role reports to the HSA and collaborates with facility leadership to ensure high-quality detainee care and accreditation readiness.

The incumbent will supervise staff, monitor contracts, and coordinate with RHSA, Chief of Health Operations, and external agencies. USPHS Commissioned Corps officers or CAD candidates are eligible to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required.
• Must obtain Level II Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Certification within 12 months of hire.
• Applicants must be a USPHS Commissioned Corps Officer or USPHS CAD candidate.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the facility's healthcare services mission.
• Supervises government employees and mentors the Facility Healthcare Program Manager (FHPM).
• Serves as alternate Government Technical Monitor (GTM) for contracted services at the facility.
• Monitors contracts and ensures compliance with FAR and DHS/ICE/IHSC policies.
• Directs program compliance across staffing, training, records, clinical, nursing, pharmacy, and administration.
