Job summary

Inova Health is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist 2 on a Full-time Day shift with a hybrid schedule. You will lead informatics initiatives across hospital and ambulatory clinics, collaborating with clinicians and IT leaders to promote EMR adoption and standardized clinical practices.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 5+ years in healthcare with 3+ years in informatics/BI/change management, and EPIC experience preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
At least 5 years of healthcare experience and 3 years in informatics, BI or change management.
Experience liaising between clinicians and IT leadership.

Responsibilities

Assist development and promotion of informatics initiatives across hospital and clinics.
Support clinical and operational improvement teams with clinical designs.
Facilitate EMR adoption and promote technology standards.
Collaborate across departments with service line leaders to implement improvements.
Act as liaison to information systems and communicate priorities.
