Job summary

UPMC East is seeking a Clinical Informatics Nurse to join UPMC Corporate Health Services, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call during go-live periods, including nights and weekends. The role includes 20% travel to UPMC sites and requires onsite presence at UPMC East when not traveling.

The Clinical Informatics Specialist will assess, develop, and implement new technology for clinical practice, serving as a liaison for end users and the Informatics division.

Qualifications

• Nursing background with informatics experience.
• Experience in implementing clinical software and go-live support.
• Ability to educate users across levels on new applications.

Responsibilities

• Educate end users on new/upgraded applications.
• Assist in project deliverables and go-lives within the informatics scope.
• Coordinate internal/external communications and user feedback.
