Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to develop, implement and support clinical information systems. You will optimize report writing, collaborate with clinicians, project managers and vendors to drive improved patient care outcomes.

You will aggregate data from disparate sources, build analytics, and support operational, clinical and financial decision making for large data sets using advanced analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's in Public Health or CS/IS/Informatics or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in Public Health or CS/IS/Informatics.

Responsibilities

• Administers implementation, training and evaluation of clinical database.
• Synthesizes data to develop audience-specific reports.
• Develops standard and ad hoc reports including Cerner reports.
• Aggregates data to support clinical and financial decision making.
• Monitors data flow and system performance; resolves issues promptly.
