Job summary

Dignity Health in California seeks a Medical Informatics Analyst to apply informatics knowledge and clinical and operational experience to support regional providers and executives. You will help reduce documentation barriers, improve charge capture, streamline workflows, and promote data-driven insights.

You will work with regional and national Informatics teams to educate and troubleshoot, design Clinical Decision Support, and support downtime readiness across domains such as Ambulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; experience with large, diverse projects incl. planning, facilitation, and implementation.
• Associates degree with 2+ years clinical, healthcare or informatics experience in lieu of Bachelor's.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in CS, MIS, Health Administration or related field; Masters degree.

Responsibilities

• Enhance usability of electronic platforms to reduce provider burden and waste.
• Design and support regulatory-compliant content, Clinical Decision Support, and reporting/metrics.
• Advocate for regional providers' needs in optimization, build, and change preparedness.
• Oversee and steward clinical systems downtime tools and provider downtime readiness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Revenue Cycle, and IT to achieve system objectives.
