Nordic is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to participate in planning, development, implementation, education, and training of clinical systems that impact patient care. The analyst will provide on-the-floor support and collaborate with clinicians and IT staff to maximize EHR and clinical software value.

The role requires clinical licensure and experience, strong analytical thinking, ITIL-based service management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited clinical program (RN, RT, PT, OT, SLP) along with clinical licensing.
  • Understanding of EHR systems and clinical workflows.
  • Experience in applying ITIL-based service management (Incident/Change/Request).

Responsibilities

  • Assist deployment of clinical information systems and provide hands-on support.
  • Contribute to development and testing of clinical content and design.
  • Test, evaluate, and maintain clinical systems and provide feedback.
  • Support clinical transformation on patient care units and staff education.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical users interfacing with systems.
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate proficient use of installed systems.
  • Prioritize client needs and follow up with clear action plans.
  • Suggest system modifications to improve care efficiency and workflows.

Grow your career.The Clinical Informatics Analyst will actively participate in the planning, development, implementation, education, and training of the chosen clinical systems which directly impact patient care. The analyst will identify and analyze clinical practice and processes and recommend modifications or solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical care. The analyst will participate in the evaluation and maintenance of clinical systems and provide a consistent presence on patient care units to support clinical transformation and assist staff in maximizing the use of information technology. All Nordic staff embrace Nordic’s maxims and mission to serve our customers who care so well for us. ## Key Responsibilities* Assist in supporting the deployment of clinical information systems for all clients; Provide “at the elbow” technical support. 10%* Participate in the development of clinical information systems content and design; Researching and evaluating best practice standards. 15%* Participate in the testing, evaluation, and maintenance of clinical systems; Provide feedback regularly. 15%* Provide a consistent presence where care is provided to support clinical transformation and assist staff in maximizing the use of information technology. 10%* Facilitate communication and foster collaborative relationships with clinical and non-clinical users that interface with clinical systems. 15%* Demonstrate and maintain proficient use of currently installed information systems. 10%* Prioritize and respond to support needs of clients; articulate the plan to address client needs and complete follow up and evaluation. 10%* Recommend modifications/solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical care and workflow; Participate in ongoing refinement of systems. 15%* Performs other job duties and responsibilities as required.## Skills and Experience* Graduate from an accredited clinical program required (e.g., RN, RT, PT, OT, SLP). Associate degree or bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred.* Currently licensed as a clinician (e.g., RN, RT, PT, OT, SLP) in the state of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license in recognized compact state if not a permanent resident of SC.* Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.* Experience in executing ITIL-aligned service management processes, including Incident, Request, and Change Management* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.* Experience in managing application support and documentation.* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently.## ## **Minimum Years of Experience*** Minimum of two years of clinical experience as well as a thorough understanding of clinical processes and practices.## ## **Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a basic knowledge of computer skills, email, spreadsheets, and word processing.* To perform the job successfully, the individual should demonstrate and apply a high level of knowledge, skills, abilities, and critical thinking to the following key areas: clinical practice, collaboration/teamwork, leadership and professional development, and process improvement/systems thinking.
