UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a Clinical Informaticist I to support and facilitate the organization’s vision for delivering high-reliability Clinical Informatics services across the continuum of care.
Under minimal supervision, you will coordinate CI service delivery, assist with training, knowledge management, and communication, and contribute to CI quality controls and performance plans to drive improvements in patient care.
Pay range: $52,555 - $85,400 / year

The Clinical Informaticist I, under minimal supervision, supports and facilitates the achievement of the UAB organization’s vision and strategy for delivery of high reliability Clinical Informatics (CI) services across the continuum of care through the effective performance of diverse advanced administrative, training, sing and knowledge management duties often of a confidential and/or complex nature.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare/Informatics/Business and a minimum of 3 years healthcare experience. May be met with an equivalent combination of education (High School or Associate’s degree) AND 7 years of healthcare experience. Must demonstrate:
Required: If has an earned healthcare/clinical degree (i.e., RN, Radiology, etc.), will maintain current State of Alabama licensure commensurate with degree.
Preferred: Certification in Training, Informatics, Quality, Knowledge Management, etc.
