Job summary

Providence Health and Services is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Washington. You will review medication orders, prevent drug-related problems, dispense medications, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to support patient care.

Bachelor's degree: Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent education/experience.
Washington Pharmacist License upon hire.
Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Independently reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems.
Contacts MD's nurses and other professionals as necessary to facilitate care.
Compounds and dispenses medications, provides drug and drug therapy related information and supervises the work of pharmacy support personnel.
