Job summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Department of Laboratory Medicine is seeking a full-time clinical hematopathologist to join the Clinical Hematopathology service at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Candidates must hold an M.D.

or equivalent with eligibility for California medical licensure and board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology. Subspecialty hematopathology board status or fellowship training is required.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with California medical licensure and board certification.
• Subspecialty board certification or eligibility in Hematopathology required.
• Hematopathology fellowship training preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Hematopathology service.
• Contribute to teaching fellows, residents and medical students.
• Engage in translational or clinical research activities.
• Collaborate with adult and pediatric hematology/oncology teams.
