The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry in the WVU School of Medicine seek a Clinical Health Psychologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV.
Responsibilities: The candidate will practice in Clinical Health Psychology, understanding the inter-relationships among behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and biological components influencing health and well-being. The position includes clinical, teaching/supervision, and research duties. Clinical responsibilities involve evaluation and treatment for adults and children.
In addition to patient care, the candidate will actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows. They will participate in our APA-accredited clinical psychology internship and Bariatric Fellowship.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program, an APA/CPA-approved internship, and be immediately eligible for licensure in WV. For higher ranks, Board Certification (ABPP), leadership, clinical and teaching excellence, and scholarly activity are required. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
