Job summary

Indotronix Avani Group in Sparks, MD is seeking a Scientific Operations Technologist for a 12-month assignment to support manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products. You will weigh, measure, and check raw materials to ensure batches contain proper ingredients and quantities, and assist with in-process testing to meet specifications.

Qualifications

High School degree with 2 years experience in a regulated environment; associates considered.
Willingness to perform in a GMP-driven manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Manufacture and assemble clinical and commercial products.
Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials for correct ingredients and quantities.
Assist with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
Validate processes and equipment related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization.
Remove and dispose of waste chemicals, solvents and acids.
Create solutions, powders, and liquids to meet specifications.
Provide training support for onboarding and/or new procedures.
Support the lead/supervisor as needed.
Provide continuous improvement recommendations to boost efficiency.
Follow GMP procedures and established work instructions.
