Job summary

Responsibilities include patient care delivery, assessment, care planning, and patient education, with collaboration across the healthcare team. Qualifications include NY RN licensure and a BSN or ADN with BSN progression; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered professional nurse licensed in New York State.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required or ADN with BSN progression.
• Experience in hospital clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing process and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent care based on nursing theory and research.
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs and apply critical thinking in care management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in plan of care development and evaluation.
• Educate patients and caregivers about plan of care, transition, health promotion and disease prevention.
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned and manage unit workflows.
