Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing program. BSN preferred.
  • RN must hold NYS license at time of hire.
  • Experience with nursing process and clinical competencies expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, competent care across units in the float pool.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about care plans and transitions.
  • Engage in patient flow, throughput, and resource management.
  • Model professional behavior and support continuous improvement in care quality.
