Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services is seeking a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in public schools in Florida. The role involves assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions within school settings, collaborating with educators and families to support IEP objectives.

The CFY candidate must have a Master’s in SLP and be eligible for CFY, with licensure or licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Valid Limited State Licensure or ability to obtain licensure (if applicable).
• Educator Certificate (if applicable).
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.

Position Overview

As a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders within the school setting. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide evidence-based interventions to support student success.

Additional Details: 1 full-time position (3 days Fruitland Park Elementary; 2 days Leesburg Elementary
