Job summary

PeaceHealth PeaceHarbor Medical Center in Florence, Oregon seeks an Exercise Specialist for a Full Time, 0.90 FTE, Day position. Salary range is $25.23 – $35.62 per hour.

The role focuses on wellness assessments, individualized or group exercise programs, and plan-of-care execution within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate records, and educating patients on home exercise and self-care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in exercise science, wellness or related field.
• 1 year clinical experience in health/ wellness/ rehab preferred; knowledge of exercise testing protocols.
• Understanding indications/contra-indications of exercise and training techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide wellness assessments and develop/implement exercise programs.
• Document participant data and maintain clinical records accurately.
• Collaborate with rehab medicine and hospital departments on treatment plans.
• Instruct home exercise programs and contribute to health promotion articles.
